Research Overview

Biography
Max Kleinebrahm leads the Energy Demand and Mobility research group at the Chair of Energy Economics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration at RWTH Aachen University, including an academic exchange at NTNU Trondheim, and completed research stays at the University of Reading (UK) and the German University of Technology in Oman. He earned his doctorate from KIT, focusing on future residential energy system design (Faculty Price & GEE Finalist). His research combines energy system modelling, mobility analysis, and data-driven methods. Max has published in leading journals such as Joule, Patterns, and Applied Energy.
