Vita

Patrick Jochem studierte Dipl.-Volkswirtschaftslehre an den Universitäten Bayreuth, Mannheim und Heidelberg.
2009 schloss er seine Promotion im Bereich Transportökonomie an der Universität Karlsruhe (TH) gefördert durch die Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU) erfolgreich ab (summa cum laude).
Zwischen 2009 und 2019 leitete er die selbst begründete Forschungsgruppe "Transport und Energie” am Institut für Industriebetriebswirtschaftslehre und Industrielle Produktion (IIP) und Deutsch-Französichem Institut für Umweltforschung (DFIU).
Zwischen 2012 und 2019 war er leitender Wissenschaftler am Karlsruhe Service Research Institute (KSRI), wo er die interdisziplinäre Forschungsgruppe (e)Mobility etablierte.
Im Sommer 2015 war er Visiting Professor an der University of Waterloo, Canada.
Zwichen 2015 und 2018 war er Lehrbeauftragter an der Universität Koblenz-Landau.
2016 habilitierte er erfolgreich mit dem Thema "Electric Mobility and Energy Systems" am KIT (venia legendi).
Seit 2016 ist er Associate Editor des Journals "Transport Research Part D: Transport and Environment".
